HTML Production Artist

Terralever, a fast-growth marketing through technology firm located on Mill Ave in Tempe, AZ , is seeking highly motivated individual for an HTML Production Artist.For immediate consideration, please forward your resume to jobs@terralever.com.Terralever is currently seeking an production artist with a focus on front-end technologies. This job involves solving user interface development challenges utilizing various technologies. This is not a design position. A prerequisite for this position is strong abilities in coding HTML/XHMTL, CSS, and JavaScript.

    Qualifications:  
  • Applicants should have 2-4 years experience working on a variety of web-based projects where their contribution was hand authoring of HTML and CSS
  • Have a knack for solving problems
  • Be willing to learn and keep learning the latest trends in interactive design and technology
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, self-starter environment
  • Pixel-perfect attention to detail
  • Be comfortable hand coding (no drag-and-drop/WYSIWYG)
  • have practical experience with any of the following is a plus:
    • DHTML/AJAX
    • Flash
    • XML
    • SEO
    • .NET utilizing C# or VB.NET
    • Information Architecture
    Responsibilities will include: 
  • Creation of web pages and optimized web graphics from Photoshop and Illustrator documents
  • Hand authoring of cross-browser, cross-platform HTML and CSS is required as well as strong skills utilizing Photoshop and Illustrator for production
  • Work closely with Art Director, designers and usability engineers to develop various online properties
  • Participate as a leader and contributor with a multi-disciplinary team that includes Development, Design, Usability, Quality Assurance, Training and Documentation
  • Understand and employ best practices in Search Engine Marketing methodologies
  • Work closely with designers and usability experts to ensure that user interface designs are implemented as intended
  • Drive decisions regarding the implementation of applications and websites
